Master suiting is where certain keys are allowed through certain cylinders or padlocks and others are not.
A typical master suite could be for offices, where each office user has a key that will, say, access the front door of the building and their individual office, but not anybody else's. A master key could be made to operate all the doors etc.
The possibilities are endless for master suiting and they are considered extremely secure.
A recent master suite we made was for a domestic property where the owner wanted to give the groundsmen a key that operated the entrance gate padlock, the tool sheds and a storage area. He also wanted a housekeeper's key to operate a the entrance gate padlock, a side entrance door to the house and some of the outbuildings.
However he did not want their keys to access the main house and certain other outbuildings, such as the garages. The owner's key operated all of the locks and padlocks on the property.
So no-one was burdened with a large bunch of keys that are an obvious attraction to thieves.
The amount of control that a master system gave the owner of the property meant that he could control exactly which people had access to which areas. Because we use a unique key profile there was no risk of the staff making illicit copies of their keys.
All of our master suites are assembled, to order, in our own workshop.
Normal despatch is within 24 hours of confirmation of how the suite is expected to work.
We always call anyone who orders master suites so that we can match their exact requirements.
Please include one master suite option (£2.00) for every cylinder you wish to be included in your master suite. As mentioned above, we will always contact you to discuss a master suite so don't be too worried about getting the figures absolutely right at the checkout stage.
