Q: Are door handles sold as singles (i.e. I need to buy 2 per door) or sold in pairs?

A: Lever handles and door knobs are always sold in pairs, with all necesary fixings and a spindle. Pull handles are sold individually.

Q: Will my lever handles include a lock or latch mechanism?

A: No. Latch and lock mechanisms are sold seperately.

Q: What do I do if I cannot decide which locks or latches I need, or I need advice about my order?

A: You can telephone us for advice on 01782 834818, or even better would be if you check the "I would like to be contacted about this order" box at the payment stage, as shown below. This will allow a member of our staff to see most of your order, and we will phone you back to discuss any additions, or to take payment, if you wish to pay that way.

Q: Which door handles are suitable for external use?

A: All our handle may be fitted externally. Some are more suitable than others. Generally speaking, the more you pay the better they are. As brass finishes are prone to tarnishing in certain environments, there are special brass finishes designed for the rigours of urban front doors.
