WT10 is our in-house range of sourced architectural ironmongery for projects and contracts. It is particularly well suited to low to medium traffic commercial buildings such as small offices, factories, retail outlets and low to medium traffic public environments such as smaller schools and neighbourhood offices. It also contains products which would be of particular interest to landlords and housing associations
With this range we have strived to bring the best possible standards of architectural ironmongery to within a "contract" level pricing structure. This means that specifying WT10 will ensure that the best possible specification is achieved within budget.
All of the products within the WT10 range have been tested to meet the requirements of all relevant legislation and all the products within the WT10 range achieve best practice with regards the the DDA, Document M and BS8300. All the products within the WT10 range have been tested to one hour fire restistance and all the products within the WT10 range exceed expectations with regard to best practice in architectural ironmongery specification.
By specifying WT10 one is specifying to meet all current regulations and best practice. There are no products within this range that do not comply 100%.
There has also been no corner-cutting with this range of architectural ironmongery, as an example we extract below a small portion of our WT10 promise, and cover here just one very important aspect of a specification - security.
Cylinders.
All cylinders are suited in-house, using our own restricted key blank. This means that your staff, or tenants, cannot make unauthorised duplications as key blanks are not available to any other locksmith or ironmonger. Replacement keys are despatched same day via a next-day courier, or are ready for collection within 1 hour during our opening hours. You control key duplication with your own unique system number. Additional or replacement cylinders are also available via next day courier or same day collection (during office hours).
WT10 cylinders are available as standard differ, master suited or keyed alike to your requirements, and we can incorporate a "contractor's key" system into the actual cylinders to eliminate unauthorised duplication by contractors during installation without the expense and inconvenience of temporary cylinders. The cylinders and keys achieve the highest possible rating under BS EN1303.
Hinges.
Every hinge serving a perimeter or security critical door will be a Grade 13, security type hinge in grade 304 stainless steel. All other hinges (internally) will be Grade 13 made of grade 304 stainless steel. All hinges are suitable for one hour fire doors.
Lock cases.
All lock cases have been tested to relevant standards including BS EN12209, BS EN179 and are fire tested for one hour. Exterior doors use locks with appropriate security and suitability.........
The above level of attention to detail and superiority of specification is apparent throughout the WT10 range, but it does not come at a premium price. The essence of the WT10 system is to carefully source products and judiciously purchase to create an elegant range of multi-purpose architectural ironmongery, and apply this to a specification to maintain a cost level that is more associated with "contract" type specifications than with the grade 316 pushplates and pull handles, custom signage and in-house master-suiting that are all standard to the range.
